The New Malden Town Centre Partnership aims to work with local businesses to help them thrive in an ever-changing economic and social landscape. We believe in the power of collaboration, innovation, and community spirit to drive success and create a vibrant high street.

The Business Survey and High Street Business Group
To support this we carried out a survey of High Street businesses in 2025 to get their views on issues and priorities for trading in the High Street. The aim was to provide an opportunity for businesses to share their thoughts, priorities, and ideas to help us understand the challenges faced by businesses and the opportunities that they might see. Insights gathered are intended to shape initiatives aimed at improving trade, fostering innovation, and enhancing the high street experience.

Just over a third of all businesses responded to the survey (49 businesses). The survey report is available here. The survey also indicated support for businesses to come together to work as a group on priority issues.

The New Malden Business Forum

There are also many businesses in New Malden that are not street facing on the High Street but are also very important to the local economy and local job opportunities. We linked up with the Kingston Chamber of Commerce to set up a local network open to all businesses in New Malden.

In partnership with the Kingston Chamber of Commerce, the New Malden Business Forum provides an opportunity for local businesses to connect, share resources, and discuss important issues. Meetings are held regularly at the Methodist Church in the High Street.

The forum provides a chance to network, gain insights on local regeneration projects, and work collectively to enhance the wider New Malden business environment. Please use the link to see how you could engage with the Forum.
