About the event
Learn how the Royal Borough of Kingston collaborated with local businesses and community partners like the Kingston Chamber of Commerce and the New Malden Town Centre Partnership to help the local town of New Malden increase awareness of local offerings using digital, creative campaigns and placemaking.
What we did:
- In only two months, we built a geolocated digital directory for businesses and community partners
- Created a robust digital presence and offline support with businesses and key community leaders
- Increased social media outcomes significantly (meaningful organic growth on all social channels
- +513% increase on T, engaged 200% more accounts due to Instameet, +1034% increase on FB)
- Hosted an Instameet in partnership with influencers, which drove digital outcomes (to website, directory and social channels)
What you will take away from this session:
Discover tactics for empowering a diverse business community and their audience to support each other, giving them the online and offline platforms to share positivity about their town, amplify their voice, and promote their products and services at a time when they needed it most.
